What everyone asks us
It depends on the plan. Lite is an installable PWA (Progressive Web App) — it runs full-screen, has its own icon and notifications, but technically lives in the browser. Pro and Studio are real hybrid apps built with React Native: they compile to native iOS and Android code, are published on the App Store and Play Store, and are indistinguishable from any native app to the user. We don't sell smoke and mirrors: with Lite we tell you it's a PWA, with Pro/Studio we tell you it's native.
We handle it. We've published dozens of apps and know the policies. If Apple/Google ask for changes, we make them at no extra cost until it's approved. If your app is something they ban (gambling, adult content, certain regulated categories) we tell you before we start, not after.
100% yours. When the project closes we hand over the complete source code. Your app lives in Aiden developer accounts during maintenance for operational simplicity, but if you decide to leave, we help you transfer it to your own accounts. We never lock you in.
Your app keeps working. What you lose: free updates when Apple/Google change policies, support from us and the API/database hosting we maintain. We recommend keeping the service because without updates your app would stop working in 6–12 months when the platforms change something, but the decision is yours.
Yes, without losing your work. From Lite to Pro: you pay the setup difference (€1,900) and we rebuild the app as native, keeping content and design. From Pro to Studio: you pay the difference (€3,500) and we redesign the visual side with no template. Downgrading is also possible but less common — let's talk it through if you need it.
Lite includes 1 round (between 5–10 grouped changes), Pro includes 2 rounds, Studio includes 3 rounds. Additional changes are billed at €89/hour. But we're reasonable: if halfway through development you realise something important, we discuss it without starting the clock on you.
We support iOS 14+ (iPhone 6s onwards, September 2019) and Android 8+ (covering 95% of active devices). If you need to support older devices, we discuss it in the briefing, but it usually costs more because some modern features won't work.
API and database hosting · Apple and Google developer accounts · mandatory updates when the platforms change policies · monthly crash review · 1h/2h/4h per month (depending on plan) of minor changes · chat support in Spanish · daily backup of your database. It's not a phantom fee — these are real costs you'd have to pay even if you had your own developer.
Yes, if the AI comes from an external provider (such as OpenAI) — we integrate the API into your app. What we don't do are apps with our own AI models or complex matching/recommendation algorithms, because those projects need dedicated teams of 6+ months and break our productised model.
The setup is paid in 2 parts: 50% when signing the scope (after the briefing), 50% before publishing in the stores. If you need more flexibility for Studio (€5,999), we'll happily discuss it.
